Dr. Jimerson is a board certified physician who specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. He trained at the University of Oklahoma where he obtained his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He completed a 4 year residency at University Hospital at the OU Health Sciences Center. Prior to completing his residency Dr. Jimerson spent 3 years on active duty with the United States Air Force including one year in Southeast Asia where he served as a Rated Flight Surgeon, Chief of Aerospace Medicine and he also served as Hospital Commander. He flew numerous combat and rescue missions with his squadron and received the Air Force Commendation Medal for his service.
Dr Jimerson has practiced medicine in the Norman community for over 40 years. While raising a family in Norman and having a busy
practice, he has also served as Chief of Staff at Norman Regional Hospital for two terms, served as Chairman of the OB/GYN Department, and as Chairman of the Emergency Room Committee.
Dr. Jimerson is active in the Oklahoma State Medical Association, having been a trustee for almost 20 years. In addition, he has served as Executive Secretary of the Cleveland County Medical Society since 1991.
